A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Jimmie began performing with local musicians and recording artists on Bourbon Street in the 1960s. Following classical studies at the Houston Conservatory of Music, he toured from California to Florida with show bands and appeared in concert at The Hollywood Palladium with the rock band “Bluesberry Jam.” After held over engagements in the 70′s with Frankie Brent and “The Aggregation” in Las Vegas and as an actor and musician in a New Orleans production of “Jesus Christ Superstar,” he toured the southeast states with country and rock bands.
In 1983 he and his wife and their two children built a home in Roanoke, Virginia, and Jimmie started a career freelancing in the country club/ hotel/ resort industry and began writing and recording his own music. (Complete bio on Personal page)
